In a world that pushes us to want more, consume more, be more, there is calm and clarity in using recycled materials.
The process of sourcing found materials and letting them drive design builds community, keeps the design process fresh and ideas flowing. It is a constant reminder that all we need is around us and that we have and are enough.
We use recycled materials to make backdrops, wearable art, & large installations.
Grace & Diggs projects take many forms and they all share one purpose: connection. When someone tries on a headpiece they reach for a mirror, a camera, for someone else to see them & share the moment. In that instant self-consciousness melts away and is replaced by play, laughter, and ease.
On a larger scale, our installations and community art projects invite people to help build something larger than themselves. When art is made in and for a place it builds connection to place and to each other.
